| 内容記述 | ヒギンズ著の「コミュニティミュージック」から、英国におけるコミュニティミュージック成立の背景や発展、その概念と意義について整理した。コミュニティミュージックは人々の音楽体験の共有により創造される芸術表現の形であり、1960年代にコミュニティアート運動の一部として登場した。ヒギンズは、コミュニティミュージックを (1)コミュニティの音楽、(2)共同体の音楽制作、(3)音楽リーダーやファシリテーターと参加者が積極的に関わり合う音楽活動と特徴づけている。また、学校教育でのコミュニティミュージックの実践は学校と外部機関との音楽交流であり、地域社会とのパートナーシップによる音楽教育を行うために「音楽リーダーやファシリテーター」の重要性を強調している。本稿では、学校と地域を結ぶ教育プログラムの開発に向けて、ヒギンズの論考からコミュニティミュージックの教育的意義を明らかにしている。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | This study summarizes the background to the establishment and the development of community music in the U.K. and organizes this concept and the significance based on a writing “Community Music” by Higgins. Community music is a form of artistic expression created through the sharing of musical experiences among people, and emerged in the 1960s as part of the “Community Art” movement. Higgins defines community music from three points of view: (1) music of a community, (2) communal music making, and (3) an active intervention between a music leader or facilitator and participants. He emphasizes the importance of “music leaders and facilitators” for music education in partnership with the community because the practice of community music in school education is a musical exchange between schools and outside organizations. This study aims to clarify the educational significance of community music for the development of educational programs that connect schools and community. | |||||
